Curriculum

Temple Beth Or Preschool strives to motivate children to succeed through a feeling of competence born out of a love for learning and interaction with teachers who care and enjoy being in the classroom. Teachers maintain balance and flexibility in allowing "learning through doing" and "decision-making" in classroom centers. The curriculum begins with those interests nearest and dearest to the child and extends outwardly toward the less familiar.

The curriculum has "open-ended" activites which allow many right answers and "ways of doing" on various levels. The respect of the child on every level brings about trust in the adults that gently and firmly guide him/her.
